Teachers, Pastors and Evangelists are gifts to the body of Christ to proclaim and explain the Gospel and the Word of God. They are God’s vessels to contain and distribute truth. God can use people to tell us what the Bible says, and proclaim what they believe it means. But the Holy Spirit has the final say on what the Bible means. We can know we’re relying on Him when we catch ourselves with the attitude: “Lord, I’ve heard and read a lot today. Have I understood You and Your Word correctly?” (more…)

The Lord Jesus Christ has used People to People to reach into the lives of people from all walks of life. High church leaders from the World Wide Church of God and Seventh Day Adventists have listened, have come to a conference and had their whole ministry turned upside down from the dynamic that it’s all about Jesus!
One of our dearest brothers to this ministry is a very talented, very famous individual who was just going about his day-to-day job. He tuned in to the broadcast and the liberating message of God’s grace touched his heart in a very special way. You know this person as the renowned artist, Thomas Kinkade.

The homeless have literally put their last dime into pay phones to call us from shelters where they’ve heard the broadcast, desperate to know if there was any hope left for them. And of course, so many of you have a testimony that begins, “I accidentally tuned into your program and heard you talk about Jesus in words I have never heard before”. (more…)

The apostle Paul tells us, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit” (1 Corinthians 2:9,10 NKJV).

Anyone, lost or saved, can read the Bible and understand the words in it. But what does it mean, and how does it apply to our lives? To know this requires the teaching of the Holy Spirit. Only He can reveal the meaning of God’s Word. (more…)

After many years spent talking with people of all denominations from every part of the country, I picture the average Christian’s understanding to be much as mine was: a person with a big box of jigsaw puzzle pieces, each piece representing a Bible verse, a sermon illustration, or a doctrine they have been taught. If you have been a Christian very long at all, you have probably accumulated quite a collection! All those puzzle pieces … but we don’t know how to put them together! (more…)
