Special Ministry Update!

At the beginning of the year, we launched Finish the Race 2007, a campaign to retire the debt on the People to People headquarters by December 31, 2007.

Leroy Howard, one of our board members, recently approached us with a unique end-of-year challenge. Leroy knows the message that is the hallmark of People to People Ministries. His desire is the same as ours – to reach more people with the life-changing truth that changed his own life. Recently, he sent this kind note to us.

Although I asked Jesus to come into my life as a boy of 11, I never truly understood until you made it clear through the Bible that Christ had covered all my sins past and future. This took the guilt I had experienced in the past and made me realize that Jesus had covered it all. I just continue to thank Him for giving me eternal life.

I cherish your friendship, and I thank the Lord for bringing you into my life. My prayer is that the Lord will continue to bless you and the People to People Ministry.

Leroy challenged the board of directors to establish a matching gift campaign. The response was overwhelming. Through Leroy's initiative, the generosity of our board, and a matching gift from a charitable foundation, we have an incredible opportunity to move forward in retiring our debt and expanding the People to People outreach.

From now until December 31, 2007, every donation given to the Finish the Race 2007 Campaign will be matched dollar for dollar up to $155,000. This means, any gift to this campaign will be doubled. This is a wonderful way for your gift to provide an even greater outreach through this ministry.

We ask that you help us finish the race by December 31. Please join with us today by sending a sacrificial gift to this campaign, over and above your normal contributions to the People to People general fund, to be doubled by this matching gift.
